Part 2 of 6 - March 9, 2023 (8am - 12pm) Testing your work is imperative for meeting or exceeding performance targets and ensuring a feedback loop is in place for continual process improvements. Air leaks from crawlspaces contribute to poor indoor air quality and comfort issues. Crawlspaces come in all shapes and sizes including shallow, hillside, and adjacent to conditioned spaces, to name a few. The geometry of a crawlspace is an important factor when deciding where to establish a continuous air barrier. Ultimately the insulation will follow and remain aligned with that air barrier. In this four-hour course, Gavin Healy of Balance Point Home Performance aims to help participants understand where and how to air seal and insulate crawlspaces. Real world examples are illustrated to convey how to address a variety of complex continuity issues.
